Wilbraham & Monson Academy has welcomed an extension of its New England Championship winning Boys' Basketball game program - a newly created and named Varsity Basketball game team.
The Varsity team plays the 2021-2022 flavor as a New England Preparatory Schoolhouse Athletic Quango (NEPSAC) Class C Associate member to complement the Academy's high-level Prep team. The Varsity team volition be run nether the direction of Prep Caput Coach Mike Mannix and will be coached by Chris Iversen.
Iversen'southward basketball background includes extensive feel at numerous administrative levels in the Premier Basketball League, an American professional men's basketball pocket-sized league. He helped lead the Rochester (N.Y.) RazorSharks to seven league championships and was twice named every bit the league's Coach of the Yr.
Iversen joined WMA later on belongings a position as assistant coach and co-director of player development at the United States Basketball Academy in Eugene, Oregon.

Program Overview
The Titans plays in the very competitive NEPSAC, and we pride ourselves on preparing young men for college, both on and off the court.
The schoolhouse has won five New England Championships, and it has sent alumni to the likes of the Academy of Kentucky, Indiana Academy, Harvard Higher, Columbia University, Cornell University, University of Nevada Las Vegas, University of Connecticut and Wake Woods Academy.

Introduction
Under the manus of seventh year Head Coach Mike Mannix, WMA's basketball program is a shining example of positive team culture populated with NESCAC and Ivy League scholar-athletes.
All of the hard work and dedication culminated in 2022 with a Class AA Title, earning the pride of the Academy community for the success of such a respected team of gentlemen.
WMA is now widely known and admired in the contained school and basketball game communities as a acme-notch plan producing superb higher scholar-athletes.
Philosophy
The Wilbraham & Monson Academy Boys' Basketball program is centered around 1 common belief: "ALL IN."

The Titans' Prep squad plays in the Grade AA Conference of the NEPSAC and competes in nationally recognized tournaments throughout the land.
The programme added additional opportunities with a Varsity team in 2021-2022.
Fall Schedule Model
The Prep and Varsity teams will have a preseason schedule designed to amend strength and conditioning too as each actor'due south individual development.
